LGBTQ in Tech

Our group is a safe, confidential space for women who work in technology to chat and support each other. Please consider joining us whether you are new to the tech industry or you are a long-time practitioner. Not a programmer? That’s fine! Our group does not exclude people who work in technical writing, software testing and QA, graphic design, user experience, project management, customer support, or other areas that are sometimes invisible in the discourse on women in tech.

Hexagon is a non-profit aimed to empower and support womxn and non-binary folx in UX through community, events, and mentorship.

Founded in 2008 and established in 2012, Blacks In Technology LLC is the largest community and media organization that focuses on Black people in the technology industry. Through community-focused activities, events and media, Blacks In Technology (BIT) is “Stomping the Divide” by establishing a blueprint of world-class technical excellence and innovation by providing resources, guidance and issuing a challenge to our members to surpass the high mark and establish new standards of global innovation.

Out in Tech is the world’s largest non-profit community of LGBTQ+ tech leaders. We create opportunities for our 40,000 members to advance their careers, grow their networks, and leverage tech for social change.

More than 500 folks are in the Queer in AI slack community. Our slack consists of dedicated channels for research, advice, announcements and discussion of many topics.
