Django Girls is a non-profit organization and a community that empowers and helps women to organize free, one-day programming workshops by providing tools, resources and support. We are a volunteer run organization with hundreds of people contributing to bring more amazing women into the world of technology. We are making technology more approachable by creating resources designed with empathy.

We are a group of women developers worldwide who love the Python programming language. We write code by day or night. Some of us hack on Python projects on the side, while others work full-time on Python development. But it doesn't matter. We all just like writing Python code, and that's what brings us together.

Lesbians Who tech is committed to convening queer women in technology (and our allies) in a vibrant and inclusive community. We work together to promote the visibility and inclusion of women, LGBTQ people, and people from other backgrounds under-represented in technology. If you work to move this mission forward, we want you on our team. Nobody ‘has to be’ a lesbian to be in this community. We use the term to honour those who crossed a firewall with it. Nous travaillons ensemble à promouvoir la visibilité et l’inclusion des femmes, des personnes LGBTQ, ainsi que de ceux et celles qui sont sous-représentés dans le domaine des technologies. Si vous avancez dans le même sens que nous, nous vous voulons dans notre équipe. Il n’est donc pas nécessaire d’être lesbienne pour joindre la communauté Lesbians Who Tech.
