Blk Pod Collective
We were founded in April 2019 as a simple Instagram page and quickly grew into a burgeoning community. Our pillars of support are Community, Education and Visibility. These three pillars are the foundation for every program, event and partnership. Our mission is to help fill the void of adequate representation for Black creatives within the podcast industry. We do this by providing support, creating avenues to increase visibility, and developing educational resources to ensure that our community has the tools needed to start, grow and sustain their platforms. As we are always looking at avenues to help enrich our members and community at large; in July 2020 we launched Blk Podfest, a podcast festival curated to meet the needs of Black podcasters. We aim to always listen and put the needs of our community first.141 members
