The basic rule of thumb is that everyone interested and working with design education is welcome. You don’t need to have the title, but instead are interested in learning and contributing within the area of education in the context of design. Please share the community with others you think would like it.
PAY IT FWDPAY IT FWD is inspired by the idea that there’s a bunch of do-gooders out there who wish to make a difference to the world through their skills but don’t have a platform. They don’t know who to reach out to or how to find opportunities to donate through their skills. In June 2020, PAY IT FWD was launched on Slack where a community of volunteers could pick up design projects posted by charities and work on them for free. As of today, we are a community of over 300 members consisting of designers with different skills and non-profits supporting various causes. We have completed multiple design, video and content-related projects for the non-profits and continue to work on more every week.
