Big Photo Hunt is a free photography community of 5,200 (and growing) beginner and amateur photographers. Members post one photo a week and the Weekly Top Ten is decided entirely by member upvotes — no editors, no algorithm. Includes the Big Photo Board discussion forum, a weekly podcast, a monthly town hall, and NYC photowalks.

“This is a community of Photographers that are seeking to share and grow in their Photography with feedback from each other. We have conversations / share our thoughts / our opinions on photography and photography-related things in the forum. We provide feedback to each other when we want it, and you have an imposed, purpose-built limit of one post each week. In the weekly newsletter, there's a top 10 photo list from the photos that got the most upvotes from the community in the last week. Also, note that you can schedule more than one post if it's easier for you, so you can schedule which ones you want to come out each week. I would say this community is best for a photographer who is seeking a group of like-minded photographers who are friendly, passionate, want feedback, and are willing to receive feedback, wants to try to be in the weekly top 10 list, or wants to chat about all things photography. Also, the owner, Ken Deckinger, is very responsive, especially to bugs or new features, & is also part of the community, which is always so nice to see when an owner is behind their product. The last bonus is that Ken has made a Ken-Bot AI that helps analyze your photos and can help you learn what you can do better next time around for posting and, in general, when you're out shooting in the field. I think it's a cool, fun feature/tool that is unique and offered to this community. I hope to see some of your photos in the top 10. See you on there!“
