To make yourself, and other superheroes enough money to survive on, because regularly being gone from school or work to save a city or the world since you were 15 limited your education and employability.     1. [WP] Gods are actually powerful symbiotic beings attached to mortal races. After all, if a mortal race becomes more knowledgable (technologically, magically, etc), the more powerful gods become, like a god of the sun slowly becoming a god of nuclear fusion.
