About Orpington Astronomical Society Forum
Run by a committee drawn from the membership, the Orpington Astronomical Society has been an active association in Bromley since 1980. Originally founded in Orpington (hence the name) the Society has grown from a small group of enthusiasts into an established educational charity with close links to national bodies, including the Federation of Astronomical Societies and the Royal Observatory, Greenwich.
