1“This was a once thriving meme community with over 68,000 memebers until the owner Cam sold it to meme coin crypto scammers on December 5th of 2024. The people who acquired the server then deleted all the channels and put invite link to a nsfw sever on the main channel for several days. Then they gave a whole spiel about how they intend to turn Memeplex into a meme coin crypto sever. Those messages have currently been deleted and the server sits blank at the time of writing this. At the moment Memeplex is still in the hands of the crypto scammers who bought it and the fate of the sever is unknown. It is a sad time for the displaced Memeplex community“
