NextGen Partners’ mission is to facilitate professional development, knowledge sharing and network strengthening of emerging Venture Capital investors as they build their careers. Founded in 2001 as a group of 5 VC associates, NextGen Partners has a membership base of over 500 pre-partner professionals representing over 200 firms in California. The Emerging Venture Capitalists Association (EVCA) was founded in 2017 as the primary community for the pre-partner venture capital investor. Our highly-curated membership of over 750 investors represent a diverse group of institutional, micro VCs, and corporate venture funds from across the United States. The community is organized on Slack, with 40+ channels dedicated toward discussing industry verticals, co-investment opportunities, career planning, community service, and personal interests.

We are a non-profit partnership promoting diversity in Venture Capital. Venture Capital is funding the future. The decisions made by VCs filter through to the whole community and we have a responsibility to ensure the right decisions are being made. We need the industry to be free from bias.
