Founded in 2008, Stack Overflow’s public platform is used by nearly everyone who codes to learn, share their knowledge, collaborate, and build their careers. Our products and tools help developers and technologists in life and at work. These products include Stack Overflow for Teams, Stack Overflow Advertising, and Stack Overflow for Talent and Jobs. Stack Overflow for Teams, our core SaaS collaboration product, is helping thousands of companies around the world as the transition to remote work, address business continuity challenges, and undergo digital transformation. Whether it’s on Stack Overflow or within Stack Overflow for Teams, community is at the center of all that we do.

DEV is a community of software developers getting together to help one another out. The software industry relies on collaboration and networked learning. We provide a place for that to happen. Our application is open source, meaning you can inspect every little detail of the code, or chip in yourself! We are working to make our platform available for anyone to stand up similar communities in any niche or passion. We believe in transparency and adding value to the ecosystem. Django Girls is a non-profit organization and a community that empowers and helps women to organize free, one-day programming workshops by providing tools, resources and support. We are a volunteer run organization with hundreds of people contributing to bring more amazing women into the world of technology. We are making technology more approachable by creating resources designed with empathy.

Treehouse is a platform with online courses for people of all skill levels and backgrounds. They also have an online forum-based community where you can ask questions about programming topics.

Our mission: to help people learn to code for free. We accomplish this by creating thousands of videos, articles, and interactive coding lessons - all freely available to the public. We also have thousands of freeCodeCamp study groups around the world, and an active online community.
